Welcome to Rondomjegezondheid. I am Raimond van Dijk and I believe health is much more than the absence of illness. Health is personal, dynamic and influenced by many factors. That is why I look not only at complaints or limitations, but above all at the person as a whole.
My vision is based on a holistic approach: the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Someone can have physical limitations and still feel healthy, while someone without visible complaints may not feel vital at all. Health is about balance, resilience and the ability to participate in daily life and at work.
My approach
Within Rondomjegezondheid I work from the Spider Web model by Machteld Huber (Positive Health). This model forms the basis of my approach. I also take into account the influence of job demands, the physical working environment and job resources. This creates a complete picture of the balance between capacity and workload.
This broad view helps not only to treat complaints, but above all to find sustainable solutions that contribute to healthy work, more job satisfaction and sustainable employability.
Experience in health and work
Over the past decades I have gained extensive experience within organisations, occupational health services and healthcare. As a result I speak the language of both the employee and the employer. My experience includes:
- Occupational physician practice supporter (POB)
- Reintegration specialist
- Workplace examinations and ergonomic advice
- Sparring partner for HR, management and team leads
- Physiotherapy consultations
- Guidance on sustainable employability and absenteeism prevention
Practical, personal and involved
My knowledge of both medical questions and work processes allows me to assess situations from multiple angles. That produces practical advice that fits daily practice.
I do not believe in standard solutions or one-size-fits-all protocols. Every employee, every employer and every organisation is different. That is why I choose a personal, practical and transparent approach.
I prefer contact on the work floor, where the situation actually takes place. Talking to people, looking at the workplace and analysing the tasks creates a realistic picture of what is possible.
My motto is simple: “Do what is needed.” Clarity is central to me: everyone knows their role and which steps are needed to work together on health, sustainable employability and a healthy working environment.
Rondomjegezondheid in the Arnhem region
From Arnhem I support organisations, employers, employees and private individuals in the Arnhem region, including the Veluwezoom, with workplace examinations, ergonomic advice, employability advice, absenteeism prevention and walking coaching.
My goal is to get people moving, literally and figuratively. Not by looking at what is no longer possible, but at the possibilities that do exist. That is how we work together on health, vitality and sustainable employability.
